What do you do at MYC?

At MYC we talk and listen, pray and play, make friends and change lives. We do this primarily by building relationships studying the Bible together.

There are lots of different formats for doing this, small group Bible studies, seminars, talks, interviews, solo time and discussions over supper. What more could you ask for?

Speaker

Tim Thorburn

This year we are delighted that Tim Thorburn is going speak. Tim and his wife Rosemary and two children live in Perth. He has a great passion for university ministry. Tim has been working with uni students in Perth for fourteen years now. He has a real gift in making difficult bits of the Bible clear and relevant to us at uni. Tim brings a wealth of experience of student lives, a love for God’s word. He says of this MYC “My hope is through meeting Jesus afresh in Mark, our hearts and minds will be blown away by the most remarkable character in history”.

Who organises MYC?

MYC is proudly brought to you by The Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students. AFES an association of over 50 Christian student groups on campuses across the country. We are united by a love for God and his word, and a desire to Jesus acknowledged as Lord on our campuses and around the world.

This conference is run by Murdoch, UWA and ECU Christian Unions. Curtin Christian Union run another MYC.
