Each year students from all the universities in Perth take part in the extravaganza that is Bus Trip.
Bus Trip consists of 3 components that everyone takes part in:
1. Mission (26-30 November)
We spend 5 days working with a church in Perth. We help them out in their mission, and get to have a go at doing real, live ministry ourselves.
2. Travel to/from Canberra and sightseeing (1-5, 11-17 December)
Yes, that’s right. We travel all the way across the Nullarbor and back on our own bus. We cook our own meals, sleep on the bus or in dorms, see the sights of Canberra and Sydney, and have an amazing time.
3. AFES National Training Event (6-10 Dec)
This is a 5 day conference for students from Christian Unions all over Australia. There’s great talks, great music, great Bible studies, and great opportunities to grow in our knowledge and love of Jesus. You can check it out at nte.org.au
Bus trip costs $550 return, or $380 one way.
